Optimized for the Digital Age

Cloud-enabled workflows, high-speed automation & affordable outsourcing

Too many lawyers fail to grasp this important truth...

The systems that can make your practice run more smoothly have to be compatible with digital technology

You need systems optimized for the modern world if you want to get all your work done with effortless efficiency.

With modernized systems you'll be able to delegate work to other people and manage that work more effectively. For example...

Better systems enable you to hire virtual assistants, train them quicklyso they do great work every time.

With modern systems you can handle more cases more confidently, and with less stress or frustration.  But unfortunately, we lawyers suffer from...

The Curse of Knowledge

As lawyers, we're often cursed with knowing too much. This can make it difficult to remember what it was like not to know something, which makes it much harder to delegate our work to others.

The root problem is, the better you know something, the harder it is to imagine what it feels like NOT to know it.

So when delegating work it’s very hard for you to put yourself in the novice's mind — i.e. someone who has never done the particular task or procedure before.

The closest you’ll come to re-experiencing that mindset is by doing the procedure yourself and making notes about what steps are actually involved. At that point, you'll have a good chance of seeing the world through the eyes of the novice.

Documenting Procedures is Key

Delegating work is best done by using documented procedures.

That's how you'll steadily improve the instructions you're giving (i.e. overcoming the curse of knowledge). Learning to do this on your own can be challenging.

That's why I created this systems workshop. I found it helps lawyers to learn how best to document procedures with other lawyers who afflicted by the same curse of knowledge.

I Understand The Problem

After leaving my big New Orleans firm I had to figure  out on my own how to create a smooth-running, low-overhead law practice.

And I did. It took awhile, but I wound up creating a paperless, highly-automated solo practice that leveraged the power of affordable outsourcing. A few years ago my mission turned into helping teach lawyers like you do the same. Not by using-all-too-common pseudo-teaching, but with...

Hands-On Help

My teaching methodology is not passive, especially not in this workshop. You'll have to do homework, which involves documenting and refining written procedures that allow you to more easily delegate work to others.

But, you don't have to do this alone. I'll be helping you with hands-on guidance. And so will your fellow workshop attendees.

Get Started Now

This program begins with self-study lessons (that you'll work through at your own convenience), so you can get started now if you want to.

Then Later...

In a few months, you'll get to participate in the workshop portion of this program. This is the hands-on guidance part, which takes place through a series of Zoom Workshops where you'll create the procedures that will help systematize your practice (in a way that's optimized for digital workflows and remote work).

The 4-Week Workshop Begins

During the workshop, you'll learnstep-by-stephow to create procedures for key areas of your practice, such as client intake, case management, marketing processes, and more.

You'll discover the most effective methods for systematizing all the things that help run your firm, and learn about the best tools to help you do that easier and better.

Repeats Every Few Months

The workshop portion reoccurs every few months. And guess what? You can re-take the workshops as many times as you want.

Get Personal Guidance

In addition to the personal guidance you get in the Zoom sessions, you'll also receive personal guidance throughout the workshop via an online chat forum (Slack), and through daily email lessons

Designed for Maximum Efficiency & Convenience

All of the instruction is designed to let you efficiently assimilate key lessons and then quickly execute on what you've learned (i.e. document and refine procedures that  will make your practice easier to manage).

What's the Systems Program Like?

You might be wondering what lawyers who've been through the workshop say about their experience. Well, things like this...

"I've been wanting to get better at this, and your Workshop has helped me push through on that. I really enjoyed the workshop. " – David Hoyt

"The Workshop provided a top-level way to look at the various systems and support for ways to do it.  And seeing how other people do their processes was very valuable." —Dwight Yellin

“I now take the time to document things I do (whether work or admin/financial stuff) to make it easier to repeat those steps and to delegate them to other people." —Chris Jaglowitz
